Dr. Bryn Aitken-Young received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Biology from The University of California Davis in 2013.  She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Southern California in 2018.  (The University of St. Augustine’s physical therapy doctoral program was created by the world famous therapist and educator, Dr. Stanley Paris, PT, Ph.D.  It is the same institution where Dr. Terri Bechtel-Greenberg and Dr. Brian Anderson earned their DPT degrees.). Bryn joined Bechtel Physical Therapy in February of 2020.

Bryn employs a multi-system, integrated physical therapy approach.  She is dedicated to professional continuing education and keeping up with current research to give her patients the most up-to-date treatments available.  She specializes in hands-on manual therapy techniques that alleviate pain and restore normal bio-mechanical function.

Bryn has been working in the physical therapy field since 2013 and, after becoming a licensed therapist in 2018, has worked with both adult orthopedic and pediatric patients.  She has experience with aquatic therapy, and even equine facilitated therapy.  During her last year of graduate school, Bryn completed advanced study in the treatment of the spine, the lumbo-pelvic region, and myofascial manipulation and release techniques.

Bryn is originally from the Bay Area in Northern California.  She enjoys playing and watching sports, being outdoors hiking and at the beach, and working out.
